The P8H61-M LE looks in traditional ASUS motherboards in blue and black color combinations. This board comes in a small micro ATX form factor at 9.6 inch x 8.4 inch compact design. The four SATA 3Gb/s ports are all in vertical stand position. It provides one PCI-E and one PCI slot with two PCI-E 1x but it has only two DIMM slot. The only thing that catches my attention is the PCI-E slot that is crowdedly extended up to the bottom of the memory slot. In this case if you’re going to use a longer card a great possibility that it may overlap in these two causing to distract each other. A single small heatsink is provided for the H61 chipset which I think will be enough to suppressed heat because this board is not intended for overclocking purposes. Overall, a pretty nice design and once you connects the wires it may look clean with easy access to every port.

The ASUS P8H61-M LE is built with Intel H61 chipset that enables the internal GPU function of the Sandy Bridge processor. This motherboard supports the Sandy Bridge the latest Intel second generation Core i7/Core i5/Core i3 processors in the LGA1155 package in a micro ATX form factor, with integrated memory and PCI Express controllers to support dual channel DDR3 memory in two DIMM slot with a maximum of 16 GB. It provides 1x PCI-E 2.0 at 16x, 2x PCI-E 1x and 1x PCI slots. This board is limited to 4 SATA ports with only 3GB/s. Other ports are 4x SATA 3.0 Gb/s ports (blue), 10 x USB 2.0/1.1 ports and 1x Gigabit LAN controller.
The Asus P8H61-M LE doesn’t have many features to offer because it is design for basic setup but the traditional ASUS main advance technologies are provided. Some of these are the user friendly OC tools that allow you to use the processor turbo boost mode via TurboV without rebooting your computer. This is back up by the Auto tuning intelligent system tools that provides stability. It also supports the memory OK that quickly ensures memory boot compatibility.
This motherboard is equipped with the GPU Boost function that accelerates the integrated GPU for better graphics performance. The user-friendly interface facilitates flexible frequency adjustments. Onboard GPU supports DVI with max resolution of 1920 x 1200@60Hz, RGB with max resolution 2048 x 1536@75Hz, with maximum shared memory of 1748 MB. This motherboard also has HDMI output that delivers HD 1080P with max resolution 1920 x 1200@60Hz and S/PDIF output for your home theater support and 8-Channel High Definition Audio CODEC. Other advanced features of this board is the EFI BIOS that makes it easier for you to navigate on BIOS using mouse unlike the traditional keyboard only BIOS control.
